Helping drive a forward-thinking approach, JWC partnered with Precision Architecture PLLC to create a cutting-edge, 47,599-square-foot facility for MaSTherCell, a technology-focused cell and gene therapy development and manufacturing partner, in Webster, Texas. JWC partnered with MaSTherCell’s leadership to design a functional space that meets the rigorous standards of cell and gene therapy manufacturing. This project featured state-of-the-art labs, including process development/technology transfer laboratories, QA/QC, microbiology and cell culture laboratories, and multiple clean room manufacturing suites. All of these labs and cleanrooms are designed to cGMP standards to meet FDA requirements and support both autologous and allogeneic therapy manufacturing. Every element was meticulously planned to support MaSTherCell’s mission of accelerating life-saving therapies for patients worldwide.
This fast-paced build-out required JWC to navigate a complex MEP infrastructure while maintaining a focus on quality and precision. From the sleek reception area to the highly specialized cGMP environments, the facility was built to reflect MaSTherCell’s role as a global leader in pharmaceutical innovation and personalized medicine. JWC approached this project with its signature commitment to excellence, delivering a space that combines cutting-edge functionality with the flexibility needed to support groundbreaking advancements in life sciences.
